Machined from a single block of solid mahogany, then oiled to bring out the deep reddish-brown tone and the chatoyance in the grain.

• Four upright slots: pens and pencils, or 1/4" and 1/8" router bits if you work in a shop
• Long tray: calipers, USB drives, paperclips
